We finally got around to checking out an RV campground in Long Beach that was recommended to us by a neighbor. We refer to this trip as "City Camping" as it was pretty much in downtown Long Beach, near the harbor, Queen Mary and Aquarium. Oh yeah, it was next to the high rise office buildings too! There are plenty of things to do and this campground makes a perfect base camp from which to visit the local attractions.
Ok, not exactly a camping trip - but we did do a fair amount of hiking. Sure wish I took more pictures! Pre-digital camera days... Maybe I need to dig through the shoe boxes of photos and scan a few more in? Someday.
Seems like every time I visit Pismo I come away with a crazy story. Two trips, two stories... Very fun place where you can drive your vehicle on the beach and into the sand dunes!
