Ok, not a camping trip, but it was a nice hiking trip. We stayed at a hotel in Palm Springs and took the tram to near the top of San Jacinto. While it was a toasty 113 degrees in Palm Springs that day, the weather at the summit was a very friendly 78.

This place was just plain SICK! With trail names like "Reaper" and "Kavorkian" you better be wearing body armor, even if you just want to walk on the trails...
